History

Agrelec was originally  founded to address a market need for expertise in applying electronics to agricultural and environmental applications.  Early projects included remote wireless thermometers for monitoring haymow temperatures and wireless anti tamper alarms for aquifer delineation wells. The emphasis was on ultra low power consumption wireless data transceiver design.

The scope of our business expanded significantly in 2006 when we began to undertake larger consulting and  full turnkey RF/MW design projects for general wireless applications, leveraging our experience in the point to point and point to multipoint  digital microwave radio field.

Our Business

We typically serve two types of clients.

• Wireless specialist companies who outsource some of their internal development efforts.
  
• Companies whose core competancy is in areas other than RF design, but occasionally have the need to add a wireless aspect to their products e.g. a wireless chipset, antenna etc.

We are a Montreal, Quebec based  business, incorporated in the Province of Quebec.

Our consultant and associates  have experience in RF design from  HF to 24 GHz, DSP techniques, Electronic Packaging and Thermal Analysis.

We also have a strong backround in formal communication systems engineering.
